What we’ve learnt

Now that our project is finally finished, Lee and I have been discussing whether we’d ever take on another whole-house renovation project. While he might take a bit more (actually, a lot more) persuading than ?I would, I know that we’d certainly be more prepared second time round. Here are the key lessons we’ve taken from it…

You will always spend more than you think

Make time to visit the site

Prioritise your budget

Things won’t go to plan

Little things add up to a lot

Think about how you ?can save money

Relationships can be put under stress

Remember to enjoy it
