KitchenAid are about to launch a brand new collection, and it will delight anyone who has been eyeing up their mixers, but don't have the worktop space, or want a bit more freedom to move between different worktops than a plug-in device allows.

The brand-new KitchenAid cordless collection launches on 16th November and includes the a cordless five-cup chopper (£129), a seven-speed hand mixer (£149), and a cordless hand blender (£129).

The chopper is great for pureeing and powerful chopping – it can handle up to 40 onions on a single full charge, or 11 onions in one go on a. quick 10-minute charge. Not that it's just for onions, but it gives you an idea of how powerful this little chopper is – all without a mains cord.

The cordless hand mixer has seven speeds, including slow stirring for chunky ingredients, medium speeds for creaming  butter and sugar and high speed to whip egg whites and creams. What's really cool about this one is that it is freestanding  there's no need to rest it in a bowl.

Finally, the hand blender: make purees, smoothies, milkshakes, soups, hummus and more with its excellent four-point stainless steel blade. It has variable speeds, too, for greater control  – but, best of all, you can walk around with it without needing to worry about a power cord.

The collection comes in two colours, matte black and classic KitchenAid red. We can't wait to test these beauties.
