She has years of experience when it comes to finding deals — Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday or not — and she particularly loves finding a bargain. With some of her favorite homeware pieces coming from Amazon, she's always looking for budget-friendly alternatives and dupes, as well as eco-friendly products to help her on her recent journey to being more sustainable at home. There's nothing she loves more than her Pug, Doug, and a bargain thrift shop find (yes, she once thrifted a brand new Le Creuset pan). Next up on her to-do list at home: DIY crittall-style doors...

Experience
Annie's love of interiors and homeware sprawled after moving into a property with a lot of potential — but with a small budget in pocket. She likes to think that she knew the basics of decorating a home, but looking back now, she had a lot to learn. And after studying Journalism at university plus a few magazine internships afterwards, Annie decided to go down the homes route to expand her knowledge. She started as Deals Editor on Real Homes in 2018, covering all of the sales you must browse for the top bargains. From there on out she has gained experience writing across an array of homes titles, including Ideal Home, Homes & Gardens, Gardeningetc and Livingetc, adding her stamp of knowledge to these homeware sites. 

Now, as the Deputy Ecommerce Editor, Annie and her team oversee buying guide content and shopping edits of the must-have items for your home, that you ideally want to look aesthetically pleasing, too. Think kitchen trash cans, fluffy towels, storage baskets, and even flatware sets. We cover items that you always need at home, that are usually boring to buy or very practical, but we find stylish alternatives. Otherwise, she can be found assessing trends and planning for sale events, to ensure we know it all when it comes to directing our readers towards a bargain. Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday are basically her double-barreled middle names.

Annie's home style
Annie currently lives in a space-savvy two bed apartment in South London. She's taking her time to make it her own and DIYing things that she can, moving at a slower pace and redecorating one room at a time. All good things take time, right? The only issue is the lack of storage. With just two small cupboards to fill with eyesore essentials, she's always looking for organization products to squeeze more stuff into a compact space. 

In terms of her forever home, Annie is always searching Right Move for a home with original features - think grand fireplaces, solid wood floors, ceiling roses, the lot. She's hoping to, in a few years' time, buy a renovation project as something that she can throw herself into, to eventually create the home of her Pinterest board dreams.
