1. Black Friday TV deals

TVs are one of the most reduced products on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so if you're thinking of splurging on one any time soon, hold off for now if you can. In the meantime, why not browse our guides (below) to find out which TV you want?

If last year is anything to go by, then you can expect Currys (opens in new tab), Argos (opens in new tab) and Amazon (opens in new tab) to be your most visited sites during Black Friday. In 2017, Currys cut the price of the Sony Bravia Smart Ultra HD TV from £1,099 to a staggering £699. Argos sold the Samsung 49-inch curved 4K TV for £549 as opposed to £629, and Amazon reduced the Sony Bravia KD43XE8004 43-inch TV by £400, taking it down to a more affordable £599.

4. Black Friday SMART HOME TECH deals

Get with the times and upgrade your smart home tech so it's smart, but not before Black Friday comes along. As simple or as technical as you prefer, why not start by upgrading your plug sockets so you can double check you've turned off your straighteners when you're out of the house? You could even buy a smart doorbell so you can see who comes and goes. Pop a smart fridge on your list, which will alert you when your food is nearly out of date.

A look back at last year shows Black Friday will be well worth the wait in terms of smart home tech, as Amazon (opens in new tab) helped customers save a hefty £90 when purchasing a Hive thermostat, and John Lewis (opens in new tab) reduced the Google Home smart speaker by £50. Argos (opens in new tab) lowered prices on several of their smart home items, including the Amazon Echo Plus by £30, and the Dot which went down to an all-time bargain price of £34.99.
