Hi! I'm Annie, and I'm the Head Ecommerce Editor at Real Homes. Along with my team, I'm here to review all of the products you might be considering buying for your home. As someone who lives in a flat with a small amount of storage space to work with, and with a Pug to clean up after, I am forever searching for stylish yet functional appliances that won't blemish my decor if I can't fit them in a cupboard. I love decorating my living room for each season, while my other hobbies include drinking a decent cup of coffee, going on park walks with my dog, and enjoying an Instagrammable brunch with my husband.

My niche(s)
Home fragrance! I think that the smell of your home is just as important as everything else. Otherwise, I have a penchant for nifty appliances that can cut time spent on chores in half.

Why listen to me?
I graduated with a First Class honors degree in Journalism and Media from the University of Portsmouth. After a stint in PR and a few internships here and there, I landed the role of Deals Editor at Real Homes in 2018. I've done my fair share of Black Friday events and have slowly learned how to spot an actually decent deal, otherwise, I've got experience in reviewing pretty much every product area, from mattresses to vacuums and hot tubs. About my Real Home...
It's a healthy mix of Scandi and boho. Lots of white, lots of wood, small pops of muted colors.

My fave home buys

It's sooo hard to choose, but I would say that it has to be my Dyson fan which I use all year round, during a heatwave or so as to not turn my heating on. Otherwise, I'm a sucker for a candle (obviously) and Nest New York's Himalayan Salt & Rosewater candle (opens in new tab) is my year-round favorite.

On my to-buy list

I am currently searching for some plug-in wall lights for our bedroom as our nightstands are quite small so we can't justify a lamp on each, and these ones from Dunelm (opens in new tab) caught my eye.

I'm currently writing about all things cleaning, organizing and storage with help from my team. We're focusing on eco-friendly must-haves that are good for the planet and for your wallet.
