On the hunt for the most on trend Wayfair furniture? Well lucky you, because we have picked out a few of our fave autumnal trends and trawled the Wayfair site for the best pieces to give your home a cozy seasonal update.

We love a change in seasons, and the transition into autumn (or fall for our US peeps) it definitely our favorite. There's just something so lovely about getting out the big chunky blankets, throwing down some extra rugs and lighting every candle that has the word 'pumpkin' or 'spice' in it. These updates don't need to be huge or expensive either, we found some lovely affordable pieces and ideas from Wayfair that could be all your space needs to get those autumn vibes going.

Love finding great value homeware? Make sure you keep an eye on our deals hub page for all the offers going on across our favorite brands.

1. Add in some Woodland hues

Let's start with an obvious one. Switch up your color pallet to get in some of those gorgeous, warm autumnal hues. The best way to do this is soft furnishings – we're talking rugs, cushions, curtains, bedding, it's quick and it's cheap. Take this bedroom as an example, to get the look all you need to do it switch up your pillows (these lovely rust ones would be perfect), add a few scatter cushions and pile up the throws. See all Wayfair's Home Accents (US) and Textiles and Bedding (UK) now.

2. Incorporate some Art Deco glam

Autumnal interiors don't have to be all about the muted brown tones, mix in some metallics too for an Art Deco twist. This living room is still super snug, but the luxurious velvet blue cushions , the Sputnik style chandelier (US) and  Sputnik style ceiling lamp (UK) and the glam gold coffee table just give it a more modern, less rustic vibe. See all Wayfair US coffee tables here; and Wayfair UK coffee tables here.

3. Get Inspired by Nature

It's all very Scandi, the idea of bringing the outside in during the cooler months and, you know, if the Scandis do it, we want in too. Get all the textures going with fur throws, different toned woods and loads of house plants. We love the dark, dramatic look of this bedroom, but if you don't want to go that far over to the dark side, get some similar vibes, with a dark sheepskin rug, some antler wall decor, allll the house plants and a large round mirror. Check out all US Wayfair sheepskin rugs, and UK Wayfair sheepskin rugs here.

4. Work in some pastel colours

This is a trend Wayfair has been going hard on this fall, and it's not exactly what you would expect, but we are kind of loving it. It's all about pastel colors, cosmic prints and geometric shapes. Perfect if you aren't ready to quite give up on summer yet. We are obsessed with the dusky pink hue of this sofa (check our similar pink sofas of Wayfair US), it would definitely work with a more traditional autumn palette too, if that's more your thing. And that wallpaper? How cool does it look styled with a few metallic pieces and some funky art work? Check out similar marble wallpaper on Wayfair US.

5. Choose Bold Blues for a twist on the traditonal

Wayfair are also loving blue this season. It's a bolder color than the oranges, grays and browns we associate with this time of year, but just looking at this living room you can see it totally works. Warm it up by choosing rich, textured materials

like velvet and thrown in some golds and yellows too. For a similar sofa, check out the Wayfair Madison corner sofa (UK) or check out all these gorgeous options over on Wayfair US
