We are big fans of Sainsbury's homeware. What's not to love about popping to the supermarket to pick up some essentials and coming out with a load of gorgeous, super affordable homewares (yes we count cushions as essentials)? So we were super excited to get a sneak peek of their new collection, and – believe us, it's the spring uplift we all need right now. The colours are lovely and light, and the prints are all about the florals, so keep scrolling to take a look...
Oh, and if it's affordable homewares you are after, make sure you check out our January sales page too, there are loads of offers going on this month.
We told you there were loads of spring vibes going on in the new Sainsbury's Home collection. This bedding set is our favourite pick from the range: it's floral but slightly abstract, which is perfect because it stops it from looking too traditional. A double set is just £21, too – absolute bargain!
Oh, and that fern you are eyeing up on the bedside table? It's from Sainsbury's too. It's fake, so perfect for those whose fingers are more black than green. It's in stores for £20.
Fresh, clean pastel colours are perfect for this time of year to lift the seemingly never ending gloom that is January. The pale blues and terracottas work perfectly together in the new collection, as the deep oranges stop the pastels being too saccharine. Thanks for the tip, Sainsbury's – pastels can be edged up with some earthier tones. The crockery starts from just £3.75 and the recycled glassware from £2.50. Bargains all round.
Does it get more spring-like than baby ducks!? There are some very cute decorative pieces in the new collection, and you can take home Jemima for just £6. It's that gorgeous wicker basket that we are really interested in, though – it's just £14! Stick some throws in, make sure they are artfully hanging out, obviously, and you have a lovely budget-friendly update to your living room. And who knew Sainsbury's sold wicker pouffes? Well, they do, for just £34 too.
