The Amazon Prime Day deals are over, but don’t panic if you didn't get enough time to bag a bargain. There are still some great savings on those big-ticket items you’ve been eyeing, as well as discounts on items under $50. These won’t last forever though and it’s probably your last chance to buy before Prime Day 2023, so don’t miss out on the next best thing for your home or yard.
Over the last two days, there were great deals with up to 50 percent off sitewide, on everything from air fryers and grills, to robot vacuums and household buys. Garden parasols sold for as little as $40 and smart speakers, like the Echo Dot flew for under $20. Yes! That’s right, this year some of us saved big.
You can head straight to Amazon’s deals to shop what’s left, or otherwise scroll to see our pick of the best Prime Day deals still on.

What to buy during Amazon Prime Day?
With costs being more of a consideration this year, Amazon Prime Day is the best time to buy anything you’ve been needing or wanting to add to your basket for a while. From the best Amazon furniture brands you’ve had your eye on, to the cleaning products that would be handy to bulk buy, there’s everything you can think of for your home in the Amazon Prime Day deals.
Appliances: Whether you’ve been eyeing up the latest best grill, best air fryer or other appliance, Amazon Prime Day will be a smart purchasing time. You might be needing to replace your old model and invest in a new one. So why not purchase while it's at its lowest price? Vacuums, for example, are a household necessity that often come at a price. Check the best vacuum sales for where you can save.
Mattresses: For an even better value for money saving, mattresses are worth waiting for. Amazon Prime Day deals see mattress prices slashed, from brands such as Nectar, Olee Sleep and Tuft & Needle. See our dedicated mattress deals to save (more) on sleep.
Smart Home Tech: With Ring Video Doorbells and Echo speakers being top sell-outs in the smart home market, there’s no better saving than Amazon slashing their prices as they do, year after year. In fact, this year there'll be up to 60% off on select Amazon devices. Wanted one for a while? Now’s your chance to get your hands on the latest tech for your home.
Garden & Outdoor: Give your garden some love too with garden furniture deals during Amazon Prime Day. Want somewhere to sit outside? There’s reduced prices on plenty of chairs and patio sets. Need a shady spot? There’s savings on the best garden parasols. Or perhaps a more practical purchase with the best lawn mower.
Cleaning buys: Don’t forget about the essentials. Whilst it's great to go big with the buys this Amazon Prime Day, it’s also a great time to pick up the bits you need. From the best cleaning supplies to mops and steam cleaners, Amazon will have great deals to save on your weekly shop.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2023?
The Amazon Prime Day dates are usually confirmed around 2 weeks before the megasale event. So as soon as we know, we'll update this page with the information.
This year Amazon Prime Day ran from July 12th, from 3am EST, to midnight July 13th. And Amazon Prime Day 2021 was on the 21st of June and the 22nd of June. We'd expect 2023 to be around this time - but we won't know for sure until we get closer.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is the retailer's largest sale of the year. You can usually find hundreds of products on sale and special promotions available globally over this 48 hours shopping extravaganza. Count yourself lucky though, pre 2020, Amazon Prime Day was only 24 hours long, much like Black Friday. So enjoy the extended offer whilst it's here.
During this annual blowout, Amazon will offer plenty of discounted buys, including homeware and outdoor items. There’ll be amazing deals on their own products like Echo and Halo devices, as well as savings on small businesses selling items such as cleaning supplies, fragrance and home decor.
Is Amazon Prime Day only for Prime Members?
These discounts are only available to those who are Prime members. But for those who aren't already, there’s a free 30-day membership available now so you can get in on the action. Since it comes with free and fast Prime delivery, Prime Video, Amazon Music and more, we won’t blame you if you chose to extend your membership past it's first month.
