Yep, you read that right, decluttering guru Marie Kondo is spreading her message to a whole new audience with the release of her debut children's book, Kiki & Jax: The Life-Changing Magic of Friendship. How cute.

Known for her insanely popular book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and subsequent Netflix series Tidying Up With Marie Kondo, this cleaning queen has always been keen to get children involved in tidying up whenever possible. In an Instagram post announcing the book, Kondo, who has two children of her own, said of the book, which is aimed at pre-schoolers, 'It’s a timeless story about friendship, and I hope that the characters of Kiki and Jax will inspire children and families to tidy and embrace joy!'

The picture book is a collaboration between Kondo and illustrator Salina Yoon, who herself has more than a dozen children's books under her belt. It looks to be a fun little story that has some classic messages about friendship, with the odd cleaning tip thrown in for good measure.
