Why we're loving Amazon handmade right now – these are our top picks...

Our love of Amazon Handmade isn't going anywhere, so we have rounded up our fave pieces to get everyone on board

Amazon Handmade is conclusive evidence that there really is nothing Amazon can't do. Haven't heard of it? For some reason, Amazon's Etsy solution hasn't quite made it into the mega-mainstream yet (considering it's Amazon) but it's kind of fab. Whether you're after furniture, jewellery, clothes or toys for your little ones, Amazon Handmade is the place to be.

It's super safe, as sellers have to be invited and approved by Amazon before they can sell and all the goods are handcrafted and aren't mass-produced. For that reason, we're keen to get our hands on at least a few pieces to update our interiors. Keep reading to check out our round-up of our faves on Amazon Handmade, covering all styles of interiors from country farmhouse shabby chic to industrial vibes.

1. Sleek and sturdy rustic homeware

Retro Rustic Industrial Solid Wood Desk | £209

This side table is perfect for when space is at a premium with ample storage space underneath. Made to order with different sizes on offer. The dark finish is moody and gorgeous and the three prong metal hairpin legs give it a nice edge. The best bit? The warts and all nature of the FSC certified wood means you know it's environmentally friendly and you can still see the natural features of the wood.

2. A countryside boho-chic mirror shelf

Mirror Shelf - Crossed Ends Chunky Wood | £139.99

This beautiful piece of home decor comes in a range of colours from red mahogany and blue wood to medium oak and white wash. For this reason, we had to include this mirror shelf in our round up because it's just so versatile. We love the shabby chic countryside vibe but also think it could work as a statement piece in a Scandi home or could be paired with a contemporary aesthetic. The chunky timber frame measures 10cm x 5cm and the shelf protrudes out by 15cm.

3. Industrial pendant lighting for high-end interiors

Wood Beam Industrial Pendant Lamp | £179

This might just be our favourite buy on the Amazon Handmade market right now. With a wooden beam of solid oak that suspends from your ceiling with hooks on steel chains, this chandelier is contemporary cool. A brilliant way to accentuate a modern interior. All fixing parts for installation are provided. Exposed bulbs are a great source of light and look great, too.

4. A "We-didn't-know-we-needed-it-but-we-do-now" moment
