WARNING: this article is about the M&S Christmas collection so will, therefore, be mentioning Christmas. Anyone who is offended by Christmas in September, well, you might like to look away momentarily (or just get in the spirit and keep on reading).
So anyway, yes, M&S have opened their online Christmas shop and it's filled with gorgeous pieces to suit all different style and budgets. You might think it's a bit early for buying Christmas decs, but all the popular stuff does get snapped up quickly, so if you see something you like, get it. We've rounded up our fave pieces from the collection to give you some (yes, okay, a little premature) Christmas inspiration...
We will be reporting on allll the Christmas launches as they come out (sorry not sorry) over on our news hub page so keep your eyes peeled over there if you are excited as we are!
Let's start with the mothership; the tree. This really is the kind of thing you need to think about buying now if you want to invest in a new one this year. Speaking from experience, good quality, fake Christmas trees like the M&S ones (above) sell out fast! There are loads of lovely, super realistic ones available in plenty of styles and sizes that you can order right now, so go go go.
The next most important thing, Christmas bedding (above). We totally think it's acceptable to get your festive bedding on waaay before you put up your decs. Mid-October? Cool with us. M&S haven't got their bedding online yet, but it's coming!! Check back in a few weeks because we will definitely update you when it's available.
On to baubles. There are a few clear themes going on over at M&S already, this very glam, Art-Deco vibe (above) being one of them. Our favourite baubles from this collection? It's got to be that gorgeous beading hummingbird; she's only a fiver too!
This rustic, autumnal look was big last year too and we really love it. You can get a set of nine of these glass baubles (above) for just £12! It's not pictured here, but this year M&S have also brought out a golden leaf garland that would work perfectly with this theme.
Yay, the quirky kitschy look is in again too! We love the more colourful, slightly unexpected decorations that come with this trend. This spotty Christmas tree (above) is adorable and you need to check out this robot in a tutu too!
Plenty of wreaths to choose from in the new M&S Christmas collection, but we still love the wire wreaths that have been so popular for the last few years. There is a star shape and a circular one (above), both just £15! Top tip for you, pad out the fake foliage with a few bits of the real stuff to make it look even more authentic.
