Yes, you read that right, the much anticipated John Lewis Christmas shop is open! Well, it is open online anyway, so you can get shopping all the gorgeous decorations, trees, wreaths, wrapping paper and more. Think it's too early? Pfft, amateur. We are speaking from experience, the best decs sell out quickly! So make the most of it only being September and stock up now.
We are a bit overwhelmed to say the least, there is so much on there! Take your time to have a look through it all (hardly a task is it?) but we have rounded up a few of our fave pieces and themes just to give you are starting point...
We will be reporting on allll the Christmas launches as they come out over on our news hub page so keep your eyes peeled over there if you are excited as we are!
Okay so where do we even start? Let's talk trees first as these are the things that do sell out pretty sharpish. Just like last year John Lewis have smashed the artificial Christmas trees (opens in new tab). They are beautiful and look so realistic. They start from 3ft and go all the way up to a massive 12ft!
Moving onto decs. Like every year John Lewis has come up with a load of super stylish trends and based their decorations around those. Our fave this year? Well obviously we couldn't just pick one, so we'll go with Garden Retreat (opens in new tab), Campfire (opens in new tab) and ABC (opens in new tab)...
Campfire is all about that rustic, quite autumnal vibe. There are lots of woodland creature decorations, leaves and mushrooms. It's cute. Our personal fave decoration is the little backpack bauble (opens in new tab)! There are also some lovely garlands and wreaths in this theme that would actually work in your home right now if you like decorating your home with the seasons.
Oh, we love that kitschy (let's be honest, tacky) Christmas decorations are cool again! They were around last year but for Christmas 2019, the decorations have got even weirder and wackier! The ABC theme is all based around Christmas for the children, we are talking unicorns (opens in new tab), rainbows, (opens in new tab) jellyfish (opens in new tab)? The stranger the better.
Now, this is something we haven't seen before. The Garden Retreat theme is all about, well... the garden. It's kind of adorable. There's a little garden bench decoration (opens in new tab), a snail (opens in new tab) and even a little greenhouse (opens in new tab)!
There's loads more to explore over on the John Lewis website (opens in new tab), so head over there to shop and check out all the themes! We will, of course, be keeping you updated when it all goes into stores too, so keep your eyes peeled.
