Not that we are biased or anything, but H&M Home is one of our fave places to shop Christmas decor. It's just always so cosy and rustic and subtle and just everything you want your Christmas decorations to be. But every year it sells out fast, so before you go thinking it's too early to be shopping for festive decs, we've learned the hard way not to wait!
We have rounded up our favourite styles and pieces from this year's collection so give you some shopping inspiration, and if you would like more of all things Christmas, check out our hub page.
1. Add in some warm textures
What we love about the H&M Home Christmas collection this year is that you can totally bring it in your home right now. The colours are in fact really autumnal – we love this throw, it looks so thick and cosy, it would be perfect thrown over a sofa or at the end of a bed to give your room a quick seasonal update. Oooh, and add a few burnt orange velvet cushions too to complete the look.
2. Pick up some new decs for the tree
We love all the paper decs at H&M. They have a few this year, but these red and green baubles are only £3.99 for two and they have a lovely subtle glitter to them, which you have got to have at Christmas. We are just patiently waiting for those gorgeous apple baubles to come back into stock...
3. Stock up on all the candles
There's a whole array of candles at H&M this Christmas (the Christmas Eve candle sounds particularly dreamy) and the prices are so reasonable starting at just £2.99. These pillar candles are very cute though – you burn one for every week in December – we can definitely image them perched on a window sill with some holly and ivy strewn beneath.
4. Decorate your home with fir twigs and gold baubles
This is such a nice idea if you don't have room for a tree or want to bring some decor into other rooms in your home. Cut down some evergreen folliage either from your garden or even on your Christmas tree (although you don't need to wait that long, this is more winter decor than just Christmas) and decorate with baubles.
5. Create cosy corners for winter nights
Sitting in a cosy corner of your home sipping a hot chocolate or a mulled wine is what these colder months are all about! So stock up of nice Christmassy mugs and jugs to serve in, and pile up the blankets and cushions.
