Like all things in 2020, Walmart Black Friday deals have been looking a little different this year. Rather than containing its major savings to one Black Friday weekend, Walmart started Black Friday shopping early, with the Walmart's Deals for Days event, which drops new holiday gift deals spread across three specific shopping periods.

This started the first of November, extending the holiday shopping season in the hopes of limiting the in-store holiday rush toward the end of the year.

Now, Walmart's third and final week of Black Friday Deals for Days, kicks off Wednesday, Nov. 25th online, with additional deals going live at midnight ET, or in-store local time at 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27th  (actual Black Friday) with major deals on toys, apparel, home, and electronics.

Don't forget about another major change to shopping at Walmart this year: Walmart announced that it'd be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but of course, you can shop online to your heart's content while the turkey roasts.

In the meantime, Walmart has plenty of deals to discover to keep you occupied before the next Deals for Days events.

Be sure to check out our Black Friday home deals for quick access to top offers.

The first event started online Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. ET and featured a series of sales on toys, electronics, and home products, with flash deals running for 48-hours or until they sell out on a number of items like a $15 Magic Bullet Blender or a New Bright 1:6 scale RC Truck for $40.

You'll find deep savings on electronics, like TVs, computers, and tablets, as well as rollbacks on movies, music, and items in apparel, home, and more, will also be available.

Finally, "Event 3" kicks off right around when traditional Black Friday would take place with online promos going live Nov. 25 and more deals in-store Nov. 27 with emphasis on toys and gifts across apparel and home, as well as seasonal décor. And yes, there will be electronics deals too.

View the weekly ad for all the latest deal information.

"Deals for Days" was designed to offer customers a safer and more convenient shopping experience, according to a Walmart release. On event days, stores will open at 5 a.m. local time, the number of crowds will be limited in store for social distancing, sanitized shopping carts will be available, and masks will be required. And as far as convenience, you get the discounts spread across more days and you can get an early start on your holiday shopping.

If this year goes smoothly, we're sure Walmart's sale adjustment will have lasting effects on how we shop for the holidays in the years going forward.
