Like all things in 2021, Walmart Black Friday deals are going to look a little different this year.

Back in August, Walmart and a number of other retailers, including The Home Depot and Target, announced a change to the way they typically run their Black Friday promotions. For one, Walmart announced that it'd be closed on Thanksgiving Day. The store also shared that it would extend the holiday shopping season in the hopes of limiting the in-store holiday rush toward the end of the year. Instead?

Walmart announced it'd be kicking off its seasonal discounts early, and keep them going throughout the season.

When will the early Walmart Black Friday sales begin?

Hot off the heels of a successful Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the Walmart Black Fridays are not only coming in hot (again) but coming in sooner than ever. Starting October 18th, shoppers can begin to score deals online — which is nearly an entire month before the Walmart Black Friday sales traditionally begin! Win-win!

What's the difference between Walmart Black Friday versus Cyber Monday?

In the past, Black Friday has been the best way to get in-store deals, while Cyber Monday has been the way to score the best online sales. A worldwide pandemic changed everything, but fortunately, Walmart Black Friday has found a way to continue its uniqueness — even now that they're both available to shop online.
