After completing a major house renovation, Amy discovered what she had always suspected; that decorating is the best part. She joined the Real Homes team to share her love for all things interior, finally putting all those hours spent agonizing over the best paint colour or perfect armchair to good use in Real Homes’ carefully researched buying guides, and helping readers to find the best furniture, decor, and furnishings to create the home they've always dreamed of. 

Amy's interest in interior design began when she studied for a degree in Print Design at Winchester School of Art, where she soon discovered her love of colour, pattern and texture was perfectly suited to creating cohesive interior looks. After several years spent working in styling, visual merchandising, and the interiors industry, she began writing for multiple interiors publications including Livingetc, Homes & Gardens, Ideal Home, Real Homes, and Gardeningetc to share her knowledge and passion for all things interior (and exterior) with those looking to put their own mark on their home.
