Never heard of Jysk? It's a game changer! Think Ikea, meets Tiger... and the prices are amazing too!

Danish store Jysk has been on our radar for a while now – we have been desperate to get into a store and see if it really isn't just too good to be true. The pieces are super stylish, look to be lovely quality, but the prices are so cheap! So we were very excited to see that  Jysk are opening six more stores in the UK and are obviously online too, so you can shop affordable Danish homeware to your heart's content.

We have rounded up five our favourite pieces that would be perfect for updating your home for A/W on a budget. For more cosy living room ideas head to our full gallery too.

1. Switch up your cabinet displays on a budget

Got a sideboard, a display cabinet or even a coffee table that you like to decorate? Switching up these spaces every few months is a really easy way to give your home a little seasonal makeover. Jysk have so many affordable decor pieces to suit all styles, but we love this simple monochrome look using planters (opens in new tab), baskets (opens in new tab), and a touch of natural textures with the dried flowers.

2. Update your crockery

If your plates are looking a bit worse for wear, Jysk is a great place to pick up some really cheap, really stylish replacements. How cute are these stoneware plates (opens in new tab)? They are just £4.50 each but look so much more, and that slightly rustic look stoneware gives is bang on trend too. Mix and match it with the olive-toned side plates (opens in new tab)to complete the look.

3.  Pick up some cute new bedding

Loving the colours in this bedding set (opens in new tab). The muted orange and dusky pink are so on trend this season, and work with all the neutrals we love too, so an easy way to add a touch of autumnal colour even if you are a bit of a colourphobe. This set starts from just £9 too, so really cheap bedroom update.

4. Browse bargain furniture

Jysk make stylish Scandi-style furniture too, and loads of it is designed for small spaces, which is something we always like to see. Check out this dining set (opens in new tab), it's only £80 and would squeeze into the corner of a small kitchen, or add some extra seating to an open plan space.

Can we also appreciate the very cute bar cart (opens in new tab) too? It's on sale right now, down to £40! Perfect for a tipple when you get back from the pub at 10:05.

5. Find a new home for your house plants

Stand planters are our new fave way to display our houseplants.  We love how they look all grouped together at different heights – an easy way to make more of a feature of your plant babies. This gold planter (opens in new tab) has a stylish cane effect, that looks amazing against the greenery of the plants.
