Whoa, are we pleased to see the Dunelm sale! It's cheered us right up. Despite the weird times we are living in, nature is still doing its thing – the days are warmer, the colours are brighter and everything just feels fresher. But getting outside is limited right now, so we are really keen to recreate that lovely spring vibe inside at home. On a budget.
Lucky for us, Dunelm's sale and new spring collection can do just that! All their lovely homewares – on sale or not – is really affordable. So we have been inspired to come up with a few ways you can create a fresh new look inside, without having to go outside.
We're doing everything we can to help keep you entertained through the coronavirus outbreak, and you'll find plenty of inspiration on our No place like home hub page. For more design news/advice/buys, don't miss our dedicated page.
1. Freshen up you bedroom with Dunelm bedding
Nothing beats the feeling of fresh new crisp sheets, so treat yourself to a new set to give your bedroom a new look. We love this classic Riviera Grey Stripe 100% Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set. Prices start from just £32 and would suit any bedroom scheme. Oh and that gorgeous mirror leaning in the corner is the Apartment Arch Leaner Mirror also from Dunelm and it's huge! Perfect for bouncing loads of light around your room.
2. Create a spring inspired gallery wall
Creating a gallery wall in any room is a really quick way to add interest and personality, plus you can change it up with the seasons. We love the spring hues that have been used here – dusky green and hint of pink and pale natural wood. This gallery wall is made up of mango wood frames that are just £3, a bang on trend rattan mirror and a handy hexagonal wall shelf.
3. Declutter your kitchen for a fresh new look
Okay, we know the majority of us aren't blessed with a pantry but you can still copy this idea for your kitchen shelves instead. Dunelm has some really affordable, and very Instagrammable storage jars – the tall glass canisters are just £7 and they sell Kilner jars too which start from just £1.50.
If you are have got the room on your kitchen shelves, baskets are a great way to add texture and hide away the non-pretty kitchen stuff. At Dunelm, belly baskets are just a tenner too!
4. Reinvent your dining room
Doing something as simple as putting some effort into creating a lovely table setting at mealtimes can make staying at home feel more special. We are obsessed with these dining chairs ( £169 for a pair) they look lovely pair with the industrial style of the Kelso dining table.
But if you aren't looking to invest in new furniture at the moment you can still pick up a few affordable pieces to decorate your dining table. Dunelm have lots of lovely recycled glass pieces that give a nice country look and they stock some very convincing looking fake flowers too.
5. Create all the spa vibes in your bathroom
We've been loving a good pamper evening recently, and having a bathroom that feels clean, serene and clutter-free has been key to that. Every bathtime set up on Instagram seems to incorporate a bath rack – they look lovely and are great for keeping a book and a prosecco while you soak, this one from Dunelm is only a tenner. Complete the set up with a rustic wooden stool and some fluffy white towels.
6. Of course bring some holiday vibes into the garden
If you are lucky enough to have a garden, we bet it's been seeing a lot of action as of late. Dunelm have some lovely garden furniture at all price points (we love this Ibiza corner sofa) but they also have some great accessories to spruce up your outdoor space. They have loads of outdoor cushions, outdoor rugs, and garden lighting to help create a proper staycation set up.
