1. The Hendrick's French 75
Simple but sophisticated: toast your event with this celebratory cocktail made with Hendrick's gin.
- 30ml Hendrick’s gin
- 10ml sugar syrup
- 10ml lemon juice
- Add the gin, sugar and lemon to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice, shake well and fine strain into a flute
- Top with champagne
2. The Rhubarb Hiball
There’s no doubt about it, rhubarb and gin are a match made in heaven. Inspired by this classic combination, this cocktail has been created by skilled drinks creator Jean-Vital of Mews of Mayfair. Try serving it in a Waterford Crystal Gin Journeys Elegant Hiball glass – specially designed alongside tasters to enhance the aromas and infuse the flavours of the botanicals.
- 45ml Bulldog gin
- 15ml rhubarb syrup
- 15ml lemon juice
- 2 dashes grapefruit bitters
- Pour the gin, rhubarb syrup, lemon juice and grapefruit bitters into a cocktail shaker
- Strain and pour into a hiball glass
- Serve with ice cubes and garnish with a wedge of pink grapefruit
3. Pink Gin Fizz
Showcasing Salcombe Gin's Rosé Sainte Marie, this pretty pink cocktail is a favourite among gal pals.
- 35ml Salcombe Gin Rosé Sainte Marie
- 15ml Chambord
- 15ml lemon juice
- 15ml vanilla sugar syrup
- Angostura bitters
- 3 raspberries
- Fever-Tree soda water
- In a Boston shaker, muddle together the raspberries with the gin, Chambord, lemon juice, vanilla sugar syrup and a dash of Angostura bitters
- Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds
- Double strain the mixture into a Champagne flute
- Top up with soda water and garnish with a twist of lemon peel on the side of the glass
4. The Sloegroni
A country twist on a classic, this recipe substitutes gin for The City of London Distillery's seasonal sloe gin – a traditional British infusion – and is served in an old fashioned-style glass filled with ice.
- 30ml of City of London Distillery Sloe Gin
- 30ml of sweet vermouth
- 30ml of Campari
- Put all the ingredients into an old-fashioned/lowball glass with ice
- Stir vigorously to dilute slightly
- Garnish with an orange slice and serve
