Spring's arrival brings the promise of warmer days, so naturally thoughts turn to relaxing in the garden. If some of your outdoor furniture is looking a bit tired after a harsh winter, then why not refresh it with a lick of paint?

To help you get the look of the soft finishes so popular on upcycled interior furniture, Rust-Oleum has introduced a new Chalky Finish Garden Furniture Paint. Available in eight classic shades, from the neutral Chalky White and Clotted Cream, to statement Anthracite, and blues and greens in between, there's a colour to suit every garden.

The paint is available in both spray and brush forms. It can be applied directly to bare or painted wood, or any suitable primed surface, including metal and plastic. Once dry, it forms an ultra-durable, water- and mould-resistant finish designed to resist cracking, peeling and blistering for up to six years before first maintenance.

Available from Homebase and online stores, the 400ml spray paint costs £11.99 and the 750ml brush paint is £18.99.
