Firstly, if you don't follow Pearl Lowe on Instagram right now go and do so. Her account is a vintage interior lovers dream. And how she has decorated for Christmas this year oh my goodness, you need to see. Anyways, we could gush on for paragraphs, but what we essentially love about Pearl's home is how everything looks like it's been really carefully sourced and has a backstory to it – her rooms have so much personality to them. It's a look that would take years to recreate... or would it?
Thanks to her ongoing collab with the gorgeous wallpaper makers Woodchip & Magnolia you can get a touch of her style in your home without having to hunt around every vintage shop and compete against bidders on eBay. And a new collection launched today!
The new wallpapers are a mix of romantic, elegant prints with a modern more edgy element to them. 'For this collection, I drew from the grand regal influences of the Victorian period, but viewed through the lens of 21st century vintage style. I find my inspiration from everyday things that catch my eye: fashion, jewellery and those special vintage pieces you can’t help but bring home. I love how a design inspired by a long-gone era can be retold for our contemporary world.' explains Pearl.
Here are our fave design from the new collection and be sure to check out our kitchen ideas too if Pearl's kitchen has inspired a revamp.
1. Make like the Victorians with a cameo print
'I love the level of detail that went into carving Victorian cameo jewellery. I wanted to design something equally as beautiful and classic. The choice of three different options, from soft colours to bold, means this design could work in almost any room, regardless of the style or period of the home.' comments Pearl.
Brb while we go and wallpaper our kitchen! The Cameo Celestial Natural wallpaper looking amazing in this space and we love how it works with the more contemporary prints. That's what's fab about these wallpapers you really can make them with any style. P.S we have a whole gallery dedicated to kitchen wallpaper ideas so be sure to check that out too.
2. Pick a delicate lace patterned wallpaper
'When designing this, I just had to include the option of a darker palette. I naturally gravitate towards black lace and I fell in love with the idea of having this on the walls.' says Pearl.

We love the drama of the Heirloom Lace Chocolate Wallpaper too, but it's also got an elegant, romantic vibe despite the darker colours. It also comes in Powder Pink and Celestial Natural if you like a softer look.
3. Bring some opulent vibes into your bedroom
'My personal favourite of the collection, the Selwood is the pattern I can’t wait to have in my own home. I love how the framing of the intricate floral design feels feminine and majestic.' says Pearl.
If you like a traditional bedroom style, this wallpaper would be perfect for bringing those elegant French boudoir vibes. But like all these print its could make a real statement clashed with contemporary furniture too.
