If you haven’t heard of John Lewis & Partners Design Project collection (well first, where have you been?), it’s a contemporary, design-led branch of John Lewis & Partners Home that focuses on creating progressive and original pieces. It features a load of products ranging from candle holders to sofas, each piece given a number rather than a name, as it would be in a designer’s studio – verrrry trendy.

Launched just over two years ago, the Design Project line is entering its fifth season and is still producing gorgeously sleek pieces that reimagine familiar home staples. And for A/W18, John Lewis & Partners have added over 60 new pieces to the rapidly growing collection, here are just a few of our faves…

1. No.152 Bed Frame

This bed frame just perfectly sums up everything the collection is about, fusing style with functionality. As well as looking glorious it also has a ton of storage hidden in its wide base, perfect for storing spare bedding and any unsightly clutter.

2. No.159 Vase

Handmade with a marbleised finish, this vase looks like you could have picked it up in the depths of some far away, exotic market (hey, we won't tell if you don't).

3. No.169 dining table

Oooh, just feel all those Scandi vibes emanating from this table. This is just such a minimalist, classic design and handcrafted with a thick character grade oak top and cast iron legs it's sure to last you a while, too.

4. No.158 cushion

We've said it before and we will say it again, you can never have too many cushions and as the season changes you have an excuse to switch up your current selection to something more autumnal. The fabric cover of this cushion has been woven on a dobby loom (gold star if you know what one of those is) to achieve a soft, but unusual finish and comes in two intriguing colour ways.

5. No.160 Indoor Planter

Still loving the metallic trend? Yep, us too, and this planter is a double dose of shimmer with its gold stand and dulled silver pot.
