Think Aldi's for cheap beans and cleaning products? Think again – its latest range of boho rugs look like the real thing

We are LOVING Aldi's boho rugs: they look great and as ever they're ridiculously affordable. Aldi sells a range of rugs, from the boho style ones you're about to scroll through to outdoor rugs that are really practical buys for kitchen floors, too. And while they're not pure wool – which you wouldn't expect – their polyester mix make up that will put some fashionistas off does actually mean that they're really hardwearing and very easy to clean.

So, take a look – then check out the rest of our favourite rugs and runners in our buyer's guide.

1. The perfect hallway runner, £24.99

The Kirkton House Wool Rich Runner, £24.99 is perfect for hallways, but we can see it in a bathroom instead of a bath mat, either side of a bed over a wooden floor or along a run of kitchen units, too. It's got a handwoven finish and feel, comes in slate, grey or yellow, and measures 57cm x 147cm; it's made from 83 per cent wool; 17 per cent cotton; and its back is cotton canvas. There's a matching doormat, too.

2. A brilliant boho rug for living rooms, £14.99 each

These Large Diamond Rugs, £14.99 each, are a great size for a living room at 70cm x 140cm. Made from cotton, viscose and polyester, they can be machine washed and tumble dried.

3. Handmade-look rugs for bedrooms, £19.99 each

We say bedrooms, but of course, this Black Diamond Textured Rug, £19.99 (above), measures a meaty 80cm x 150cm, so it's just as good in a living room, too. Its woven, textured finish and tufted pile means it looks handwoven from natural materials but it's made from polyester – and cotton. Love the black and white for a Scandi room scheme, too.

Or maybe you like the Kirkton House Rose Textured Rug, £19.99 in red to add a splash of colour? Like the rug above, it measures 80cm x 150cm, and is made from cotton and polyester.

4. A faux fur rug to add a touch of hygge, £14.99

We know this Kirkton House Faux Sheepskin Rug, £14.99, has no hint of Berber about it but it's got that boho Scandi vibe going on in spades. We want one for by the bed, one for on the sofa and one for the car (don't ask). It comes in pink, white and dark grey and measures 60cm x 90cm. Its machine washable at 30ºC and is made from acrylic and polyester fibres that feel really soft and cushioning underfoot.
