Boating, kayaking, swimming, and canoeing are available at Harriman Reservoir and Lake Raponda just 10 minutes away.

Perched directly on Duck Creek in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, hosts call this cottage "social distancing made easy." The space was built by oyster purveyor and author Earl Rich post World War II. In recent decades, it has been home to writer and historian Evarts Cecil Erickson and artist/author Janet Doub Erickson.
It's easy to see why there's so much inspiration here, with Old World charm and views of the harbor including blue herons and osprey fish. Outside, warm up from cool evenings by a crackling fire.
Private Middleton cabin
Located in rural Middleton, New Hampshire, this enchanting cabin is secluded about one mile from the main road. It has all the charm you'd expect from an authentic log cabin, tucked on six acres. There's a private pond stocked with bass and trout for fishing, and you can use the small rowboat to scout fish below.
