We've rounded up some of the best Ikea bedroom lighting ideas to get you inspired...

Go get inspired by even more of our bedroom lighting ideas in our design gallery.

1. Go for the classic Sinnerlig Ikea light

Our love for the Sinnerlig Ikea light is still going strong. It's just the perfect amount of statement but would also fit into any scheme and not become the focus. Pick a soft bulb and it gives off a gorgeously soft, speckled light which makes it perfect for bedroom lighting.

If you love this bedroom, you will love our boho decorating ideas so go and have a browse through that too.

2. Save space and wall mount Ikea lighting

Wall-mounted lighting is perfect if you have a small bedroom and either don't have room for a bedside table or that surface space is too sacred to be wasting on a light. Pinch this bedroom idea and pop an adjustable wall light above your bedside table to provide the perfect reading light.

3. Take Ikea fairy lights off the tree and put them in the bedroom

We think fairy lights are perfectly acceptable to have up all year round, and they do make for lovely bedroom lighting. Our fave from Ikea are the ever-popular UTSUND festoon lights. But what happens when Christmas is over? You don't want to go hiding them away obviously, so string 'em up in your bedroom.

4. Choose a soft Ikea bedside light

The RANARP range is a classic. Lovely and simple, with a slight Anglepoise vibe they will suit any bedroom's style. The bedside light is also really affordable too, just £29 and it's ideal for reading as you can adjust the angle. Pick a soft opal bulb for the perfect bedside light.

And if this bedroom is getting you inspired to delve into the pink trend, head over to our pink room ideas for loads more gorgeous rosy spaces.

5. Create symmetry with Ikea floor lamps

We love the striking outline of these black floor lamps against the white walls and soft bed linen, they create a contrast as well as being a really practical bedroom lighting idea. Best thing about these Lersta lights? They are just £12 each! Bargain.
