There may be no real life RHS Chelsea Flower Show taking place this month – much to the sadness of all fans of this annual blooming extravaganza – but that’s not stopping the organisers from bringing gardening joy to people across the world.

You can still get your fix of gardening advice and planting inspiration from leading names from the world of horticulture – all from the comfort of your armchair. Because if we can’t go to Chelsea, Chelsea will come to us!

The RHS will be hosting the first ever ‘virtual’ Chelsea Flower Show on its website from 18th to 23rd May.

Monday 18th May will be a special Members’ Day – with exclusive content for RHS members only – then from Tuesday 19th to Saturday 23rd May, everyone will be able to enjoy the FREE gardening content that will be uploaded daily.

Highlights of the virtual Chelsea Flower Show

Each morning a leading garden designer, florist or gardening personality will give an exclusive tour of their own private gardens as they share their top design tips, favourite planting combinations and gardening insights.

There will also be a wealth of gardening ideas and activities for the whole family to get involved in through the daily School Gardening Club.

Behind the scenes at the nurseries that exhibit at Chelsea

If you’ve ever wondered how the nurseries that exhibit at Chelsea manage to grow their spectacular plants, now will be your chance to find out, as virtual visitors will get behind-the-scenes tours of their award-winning nurseries.

Meanwhile, leading growers will share their growing techniques, tips and advice in daily potting bench demonstrations.

There will also be a chance to cast your vote on the RHS Chelsea Plant of the Decade, the RHS Chelsea Product of the Year and the BBC/RHS People’s Choice Garden of the Decade.
