How to choose a round coffee table

The most important thing to consider when choosing a round coffee table is the diameter. It's a very good idea to measure the space you have to get an idea of whether the coffee table will fit in your living room together with all the other furniture you have.

The next thing to think about is the height. It will matter less if you're only using your coffee table for decorative purposes, but if you're planning to also use it as a breakfast table, go for a taller design.

Next, choose the material. A round coffee table made from solid wood or marble will easily last a lifetime, but both of these materials scratch and stain easily and will need to be sealed. Glass coffee tables will be somewhat cheaper than real stone or wood, but they are more fragile and are best avoided in busy households with children. If cost is a major consideration, consider a faux-marble or metal design.
