The property comprised of a 4.3 x 4.3 metre front living room and a 3.3 x 2.2 metre wide dining area and triangular shaped rear kitchen. The first floor comprises of a front bedroom and rear bathroom and there are stairs leading up into a small attic bedroom. The 4.3 x 4.3 metre cellar occupies the front of the property and is accessed by some stone steps leading from the living room.

Before converting the cellar into usable space, it was damp and full of household rubbish and rubble.

By converting, the cellar there is now a useful kitchen and dining area that is well ventilated, is warm and dry. The area on the ground floor where the kitchen and dining area used to be has been refurbished to create much needed additional floor space.
