Small kitchen dwellers rejoice – Whirlpool have launched a new slimline dishwasher that’s only 450mm wide.

While it may be small, the new Whirlpool freestanding compact dishwasher benefits from 10 place settings, a fully flexible interior and a stylish, contemporary design. Also available as a fully-integrated model, this slimline dishwasher boasts an ‘A+’ energy rating, five programmes and fits perfectly into even the diddiest of kitchens.

You may think that a smaller dishwasher means you will have to hand wash all your bigger items, pots, pans and baking dishes, but fear not, the interior has been designed to use every inch of space available. You can completely remove the top rack so you can easily accommodate all your larger kitchenware. The slimline dishwasher also benefits from a variety of delayed start options, allowing you to set the dishwasher to begin its cycle at a convenient time.

'Thanks to technological advances, compact living no longer means having to compromise on functionality or performance. Consumers can cut down on the amount of time spent doing the dishes without taking up too much space in the kitchen,' says Sinead O’Brien, Brand Marketing Executive at Whirlpool.
