We'll be honest: if you were hoping for a coastal summer holiday in the UK, most places are booked up until late September. However, there are still amazing places to stay a bit further inland, with easy access to the coast by car. This lovely little house in Dorset is smack bang in the middle of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is only 30 minutes by car from the gorgeous Dorset beaches. It's £60 a night and sleeps up to three people.
We don't know how about you, but we've thought (more than once) about escaping to the South of France this summer, and why wouldn't you if it's to a flat with this view? Located in Beaulieau-sur-Mer and overlooking the stunning Cap Ferrat, this little one-bed flat has everything you need and is only £86 a night, which is amazing for this area.
Zakynthos did have a reputation as the 'party island' of Greece until recently, but it's smartened up, with (expensive) boutique hotels popping up and new visitors drawn to its incredible sunsets and the famous Shipwreck Beach. This tastefully furnished three-bedroom Zakynthos apartment has the most amazing views from every bedroom and a balcony. It sleeps seven and is £243 per night.
We love Sitges. This fun and bustling Catalonian town offers everything: a beautiful beach, lively streets with restaurants, and a great nightlife scene. This one-bed flat is a stone's throw from the beach and has a spectacular roof terrace with sun loungers and a chiminea. It's £168 a night. We want to go right now.
