Jungalow founder Justina Blakeney is in high demand. Following her fem-powered collaboration with Keds earlier this year, the designer has some more big news: Blakeney is Target's latest Home Style Expert.

"I can’t wait to share how to create deeply personal, fun, and vibrant spaces on a budget," she says of the partnership. "I truly believe in the democratization of design and that having a beautiful home increases the quality of life."

And Blakeney is truly walking the walk...She recently redid her entire bedroom in Target's Casaluna label, and the results couldn't be more warm and cozy for fall — with a dash of the designer's signature boho aesthetic, of course.

"I love Casaluna’s color palettes, emphasis on a great night’s sleep, and the natural materials used in the collection — from cotton to hemp," she adds. "That really speaks to me, not just as a designer but as a person who is always looking for ways to fuse the worlds of design and wellness."

Blakeney did just that for her self-described sanctuary, her bedroom.

Whenever Blakeney wants to decorate a room in her home, she starts by reflecting on how she wants to feel in the space. For the bedroom, those vibes have to be cozy, safe, relaxed, romantic, and free, she writes. Visuals of America's Southwest evoke those same feelings for the designer, with its clay-colored mountains and botanicals like juniper and sage.

Casaluna's rust-colored bedding immediately brought those desert vibes to mind. "I went with Clay and Sage as my primary color palette for the design, channeling the colors of Taos, New Mexico, and the incredible sleep I had while there a few years back," she adds.

She layered an array of textures with slight color variations for a dynamic result. To complete the vibe? A clay diffuser with a relaxing scent.

Natural wood side tables, cork lamps, and framed botanical artwork complete the organic look. Of course, it wouldn't be a Jungalow space without some real-life plants as well. The result? "A space that doesn’t just look pretty but supports my emotions and my wellbeing — something that’s so important for a home in general, but especially the bedroom, and especially these days when my home is truly my everything, and my bedroom is my haven, my sanctuary," Blakeney says.
