Aldi Special Buys are often quite well buried in their website... but don't worry, we're always up for a little digging. We'd already spotted their faux fur stool (more on that below), but it wasn't until we started really delving that we found the full range of faux fur they're offering at the moment. And it's fab! It's got proper designer cred, but it's really affordable, and no bunnies were harmed in the making of this collection.

Keep scrolling to make your home cosy as the temperatures drop. And if you want to feel a nice warm glow from within, don't miss all the deals on our hub page (including the best early Black Friday deals we've uncovered so far).

... or you could style yourself like Jon Snow from Game of Thrones and wear yours like a cape?

Either way, these Kirkton House Faux Fur Throws, £29.99, are perfect for snuggling up on chilly evenings. We've got a few ourselves at Realhomes.com Towers, and we can attest that they're must-haves for anyone who feels the cold. They come in three colours, measure 150cm x 200cm, and are machine Washable at 30°C.

2. Faux fur bean bags for kids' rooms or living rooms, £49.99

LOVE this Faux Fur Bean Bag, £49.99! It's perfect for extra living room seating (much needed at this time of year when you're a) hosting more often and b) more likely to be in watching Strictly, Bake Off or X-Factor Celebrity. We think it's a great find for kids' rooms and teen dens, too. It measures 70cm x 70cm x 40cm, and can be sponge cleaned when the inevitable spills happen.

3. Faux fur rugs and stools for the bedroom, £14.99

We spotted this Kirkton House Round Faux Fur Stool, £14.99, a while back, along with these faux fur rugs. The stool shown isn't the only one in the range, there's a square version available, too. But this one's cute, right? Perfect as a dressing table stool for a bedroom, we think. It measures 28cm x 28cm x 41cm.

The Kirkton House Luxury Faux Fur Rugs, £14.99, would be lovely either side of a bed, but we've used ours on seats to add an extra layer of comfort and insulation – and they're perfect for adding a touch of Scandi style. They measure 60cm x 90cm, are super soft to the touch and durable. They can be spot cleaned and come in three colours.

4. Cushions for living rooms and bedrooms, £8.99

Ooooh these Kirkton House Faux Fur Cushions, £8.99, are the big story for us. They're perfect for making your home a cosy oasis this winter, can be scattered over sofas and beds to add a layer of comfort and warmth, and are a generous 50cm x 50cm, BUT look at the price! You could get three for well under £30 and transform your living room or bedroom instantly. The covers are machine washable at 30°C, too.

5. Faux fur storage baskets for... er... anywhere, £12.99 for two

How funny are these Kirkton House Faux Fur Baskets, £12.99 for two? If you are looking for a storage solution that's also furry... this is it! These practical baskets come in two sizes (22cm x 20cm and 40cm x 30cm), meaning they are perfect for storing an array of items (ooooh! You could put your other faux fur buys in them!), and in a range of colours. There are useful carry handles on both sides, and they can be wiped clean, so they're practical as well as good looking.
