Simple squirrel barrier

Protecting my plants with patience & creativity 🙂🌿 ##diy ##voiceover ##problemsolving ##greenery ##pests

♬ Suburban Morning - Calm Your Soul

When one gardener got tired of the neighborhood squirrels feasting on his crops, he decided to do something about it — without relocating the cute critters. Instead, he wrapped tomato planters in netting and secured it with a little wire. Flipping the planter upside down and placing it around each vegetable plant, the end result is a tall barrier that blocks squirrels but not precious sunlight.

Catalog-worthy bedding

How to make your bed like it’s in a ##potterybarn catalog-so cozy! 🤩 Shop-link in bio! ##homesweetjones ##tiktokpartner ##learnontiktok ##homedecor

♬ FEEL THE GROOVE - Queens Road, Fabian Graetz

Ever wondered how the pros make beds look as full as the Pottery Barn Catalog? Haley Jones shows us how. She starts with two duvets with fluffy inserts, folded down over one another. Then, scrunch one end of the duvet to make the bed look a little more lived in. Add two pillow shams, pulling up the corners so they don't sag, then layer different sizes of throw pillows, giving them a little chop in the center for a cozy aesthetic.

Fake a marble countertop

Literally looks 100% real! A project a day keeps boredom away. Ps. This was way easy ##goingpro ##happyathome ##homedecor ##fyp

Kimberly calls this DIY "the true Catfish." By using vinyl contact paper over her laminate kitchen island, she creates a faux marble look. Watch as she wipes the countertop clean, and carefully lays the paper, smoothing as she goes with spatula. She then folds over the sides, pulling tightly for a seamless finish.

Veronika didn't like they way her Trader Joe's spices looked with her kitchen decor. To give them a stylish update, she soaked off the original labels in water. Then, she applied simple labels from "PaperAndPear" on Etsy. With the understated, matching labels, the spices look beautiful (and more expensive) when displayed on open shelving.

Perfect wall arch

This genius TikTok hack proves you don't need to be a professional artist to create a perfect curved arch. Here, Marley shows us the string method. Pin down one end of the string with your hand, holding the other end with your paintbrush. Use painters tape to tape down the sides of the arch.

Without overloading your brush with paint, start smaller than you need and work your way out. Then, manually connect the space where the arch meets the painters tape and fill in the center with a roller for a smooth finish. After you've applied your second coat, take this look to the next level by smoothing out the edges with paint matching the original color of the wall. The result looks flawless!

Then, she inserted a single rose stem into each of the empty holes. The result is a perfectly circular arrangement that flawlessly stays in place!

Dollar tree sunglasses case

♬ Hidden in the Sand - Tally Hall

Jay Munee is the queen of Dollar Tree DIYs. Here, she creates the most adorable little sunglasses display shelf using only a few items. At the Dollar Tree, you'll need to purchase two small crates, two wooden rulers, wood glue, and a picture frame.

First, she uses the wood glue to connect the two small crates, clamping them together until the glue is dry. Then, she removes the black edging strips from the rulers and cuts them to size to fit across the width of the crates. Finally, glue them in place with more wood glue.

Lastly, Jay uses the remaining piece of the ruler to create a stand. First, remove the metal hinge from your picture frame and attach to the back of the crates with hot glue. Lastly, glue the ruler to the hinge to create a convenient stand to display all of your glasses. Genius!

Want to create a Marie Kondo–approved closet? Teresa turned her closet into a professionally organized dream with the help of six organization must-haves found on Amazon. Here is what she used:

Clear shelf dividers separate sweaters or folded jeans and help your shelves appear incredibly organized. Then, clear stackable bins are great for holding phone cases, apple watch bands, and other odds and ends. Drawer dividers maximize space in your drawers and help you achieve those perfect folds used by the pros.

For hair accessories, a scrunchie stand is a must, and a headband cylinder makes it easy to stack structured headbands. Finally, display your shades with a sunglass stand.

And in your closet, thin acrylic hangers maximize space and look ultra chic in clear Lucite.
