As a true New Englander, I'm an expert in fall scents. Growing up in Connecticut, I can vividly remember the first crisp autumn day at the apple orchard, just as distinctly as I can remember weekends searching for the best candle reminiscent of that memory.

The ability to separate the best fall scents from the not-so-good is second nature.  And, that is why my New England background is my most cherished asset. More so now that I reside in New York City.

The Autumn activities are far less frequent than per se Connecticut and Massachusetts, and I'm constantly looking to bottle up my experience. The best home fragrance is often my best bet when I'm trying to relive my most cherished childhood memories.

I've dedicated hours, if not days, looking for the best reed diffusers that smell just as strongly as the pumpkin batch or an apple candle that could be mistaken for warm apple crisp.

The small details make a big difference here, and that's where I come in. For anyone trying to experience Autumn-in-a-jar, invest in these seven fall scents that will transport you there.
