If you’re looking for interiors inspiration, make a date in your diary for the brand new Northern Quarters interiors festival, where Real Homes magazine is excited to be hosting a panel discussion on all things homes-related.
Taking place in Newcastle on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November, there’s a packed calendar of events lined up for you.
Kicking off the festival on Saturday, there are several workshops taking place at the stunning Biscuit Factory in Newcastle. Get creative and learn how to make your own terrarium and create a living wreath with Kate from Northumbrian Flowers, make a festive wooden star with upcycler Cheryl Lumley, and create and stencil your very own cushion with Helen from The Stencil Library. It’s also the perfect opportunity to browse the amazing art collection at the venue.
On Sunday 18th November, the action moves to St Mary’s Heritage Centre in Newcastle, where you can shop to your heart’s content with buys on offer from some of the region’s best artisan makers, plus there’s the chance to get advice from interiors professionals at one of the event talks.
Instagram influencer Kerry Lockwood will be revealing all about her interiors journey, as well as offering some pearls of wisdom on how to get the perfect Insta shot, plus interior designer Cathy Dean will be hosting a must-see Q&A session to help you plan your next interiors project.
Taking a seat on the Real Homes panel discussion will be upcycler Cheryl Lumley, Instagram influencer Lou Watkins, interior designer Julie Chambers and Emma Dickinson, the design manager of BoConcept Newcastle. We’ll be covering everything from how to spot the latest trends, why you should try to find your core style, and some of our favourite places to find interiors inspiration. Plus, there’s also the chance to join in a Q&A, so you can grill the panel and get the answers to all your interiors dilemmas.
Tickets for the events are selling out fast, so grab yours today and get all the inspiration you need for your next project.
