Kathy Griffin is the beloved comedian at the heart of My Life on the D-List, a show that's delightfully tongue-in-cheek about what it means to try to be a celebrity. But her exclusive Bel Air home, which has just gone up to sale, is A-list all the way through, and we're not joking, not even a little bit.

The comedian has recently put her high-security, gated estate in LA's exclusive Bel Air neighborhood, and it's going for $15.9 million. Bel Air is probably the most prestigious gated community in the City of Angels, with lots of beautifully landscaped gardens to walk in and a nice community center.

Kathy's estate itself boasts stunning views and an infinity swimming pool. We'd never actually want to get out of that pool if it were ours (girls can dream). Graphic French doors open onto the pool area from the airy, open-plan lounge, with the kitchen featuring a butler's pantry (nice one, Kathy).
There are 12 bedrooms and nine bathrooms in total, and those bathrooms are seriously competing with the infinity pool in making us want to sit there all day. The master bedroom also has his and hers baths – a clever idea we wish all couples could afford. The walk-in closet is making us dizzy with all gorgeous clothes and shoes. Oh, and if you were to look at the lower level of the property, you'd discover a cinema room and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar.
Kathy Griffin is well known in LA circles not just for her 30-plus-year experience in comedy, but also her financial savvy: she's known for paying for her homes with cash. We hope her next dream home will be even more spectacular than this classy residence.
