Hands up if lockdown surprisingly turned you into a person who juices and does at home workouts and runs and steams all their food? Okay, more like hands up who actually just found a bit more time over the last few months to get a bit fitter and eat a bit healthier? There were many downsides to being in isolation, but taking up exercising and just generally looking after ourselves a bit more was a small blessing.

And now as we return to life as (almost) normal, we are keen to make sure we keep that up and we are sure you are all too. Soooo, this shiny new site could not have come at a better time! We have been having a scroll through Fit & Well (opens in new tab) all morning and we LOVE it. It makes 'healthy living' really accessible and simple, no jargon nothing preachy, just inspiring ways to keep fit and healthy.

It's also got loads of advice on exercise, literally, you can find workout ideas on whatever part of your body you are looking to work on  – we did the How to get a six pack workout (opens in new tab) , this morning and OUCH! But it was very easy to follow and you can remember it from the first time you do it so whack on the TV while you workout.

There are also loads of lovely tasty, healthy recipes over there too. If you are gluten free, you need to check out the Gluten free recipes for BBQs (opens in new tab) – you can definitely do them without a BBQ and they make for lovely summer dinner ideas.

Paul Newman, Managing Director of FitandWell.com, said: “People’s priorities have naturally changed as a consequence of living through the greatest public health scare in living memory. Being fit and healthy is no longer an option, particularly for those in high-risk groups, it’s a practical necessity. And that’s why we’ve launched FitandWell.com (opens in new tab) to provide people of all backgrounds with practical and accessible advice for everything from weight loss to eating more healthily. By being the first digital media brand to exclusively target the post-COVID-19 landscape we intend to open up a valuable new audience for our commercial partners in the process.”

We are really excited to keep using this new site to make sure we stay motivated now lockdown is being lifted, so make sure you check it out too. Give them a follow on Instagram (opens in new tab) for even more recipes and live workouts.
