Aldi's luxury candles have designer cred without the price tag. Last minute gifts? You bet

Well that's at least 10 people ticked off our Christmas present list

Really, who doesn't love a candle for Christmas? They are just a classic, go-to Christmas present for distant relatives, office secret Santas and teachers the world over and we get why – especially if you can bag a bargain Aldi candle.

In case you weren't aware, Aldi candles have built themselves a bit of cult following – people go mad for them. It possibly has something to do with the fact their scents are very similar to a certain cream and black boxed luxury candle brand (no spoilers but it rhymes with 'Go Stallone').

Anyway, all you Aldi candle lovers will be pleased to know they have launched a brand new range in time for Christmas. Keep scrolling to find how and when you can get your mitts on the new collection...

The new swanky Hotel Collection is available in store from 12th December, but the good news is you can pre-order the candles, from 8th December (this Sunday), so set an alarm or stick it in your calendar to save any disappointment.

So what's in the range? Well there is a new scent, Bitter Orange, which sounds deliciously festive and there is a new design too. As well as the classic packaging we all recognise, there is also a limited edition, iridescent packaging with a more glamorous vibe.

There are also gift sets! Oh thank you Aldi for making our Christmas shopping a whole lot easier. There are two to choose from: a votive gift set that is made up of six scents, including Bitter Orange, Sweet Almond & Macaroon and Rose Noir and the classics, Lime, Basil & Mandarin, Peony Blush and Pomegranate that is just £7.99. And a diffuser set that includes the classic fragrances of Lime, Basil & Mandarin and Pomegranate and the new scent for this year, Bitter Orange, that's priced at only £9.99.

As with all Aldi Best Buys, once it's gone, it's gone so make sure you get pre-ordering on Sunday or down to your local Aldi on the 12th.
