Cambridge Traditional products Timber Reviver

CTP Timber Reviver was originally developed some years ago, at the request of a builder who was working for English Heritage. It is a concentrated solution of Beeswax in Turpentine, designed to feed, enhance and protect old Beams and other architectural timbers.

Unlike other preparations that have been used for this purpose that tend to sit on the surface, Timber Reviver actually soaks into the wood, stabilising and protecting, restoring tired, dried out old beams to their former glory.

As with the polish we produce, Turpentine is a natural treatment to use on wood, as it comes from wood (Turps is distilled pine sap).

Timber reviver offers the same kind of benefits as our furniture polish, but in a form that can easily be applied by brush, as old beams and timbers usually have a rough or riven surface.
