We don't know about you, but we totally bought into the terrazzo trend that swooped into the interiors world this summer. We're talking mugs, plant pots, picnicware (for those days where we could socialise outside in guaranteed good weather)... it's fair to say we were complete converts.
And the good news is that it's not time to say goodbye to the trend just yet. In fact, it's easier than ever to integrate the super cool pattern into your winter scheme, from lighting to cosy soft furnishings.
Read on to find out how, then check out our round up of the best interior design ideas for the rest of 2020.
1. Integrate it into your new kitchen scheme with tiles
A terrazzo tile is a classic as old as time, but if you're giving your kitchen a refresh this season, consider using this versatile option for your kitchen surface, whether as a splashback or a worktop. These Arlo Dark tiles from Porcelain Superstore (opens in new tab) show how the pattern can be used as a neutral, paired with a statement red kitchen for stand-out style.

2. Invest in an on-trend terrazzo furniture piece
If you've fallen fully in love with terrazzo, give it a more permanent place in your home this season by investing in a piece of furniture. Tables with a terrazzo top are hugely popular and easy to find online – we love this Arianne console table with an emerald green top from Habitat (opens in new tab) – but we think an equally smart buy would be a bar trolley or drinks cabinet, perfect for the entertaining season (even if it's a little quieter than usual this year...).
3. Make a statement with a bold terrazzo wallpaper
Let terrazzo take centre stage in your redecoration project with a feature wall. This setup from Oak Furnitureland, featuring their Natural Solid Mango 6 drawer sideboard (opens in new tab), uses patterned paper as a stylish backdrop, contrasting the blue-flecked design with clashing pattern and colour through furniture and accessories for a truly 2020 look. Try Graham & Brown's Terrazzo Green wallpaper (opens in new tab) for a similar look.

4. Inject some razzle dazzle into your textiles
From cushions and rugs to throws and brand new bedspreads, autumn/winter is all about cosying up with textiles. Show your bed some love by treating it to a new set of bed linen, like this super cool Ponto duvet set by sustainable brand Undercover (opens in new tab). Alternatively, throw down a new terrazzo rug like this design from MY Furniture (opens in new tab) in your living room, and pick up a new scatter cushion or two to inject the trend into your sofa arrangement.

5. Entertain at home in style with terrazzo tableware
With terrible weather and pubs looking an increasingly iffy option, we're predicting a lot of small-batch home entertaining this autumn/winter – which means plenty of home cooking and casual dinner parties. Indulge in the terrazzo trend for your table with smaller accessories like this HKLiving cutting board from Nordic Nest (opens in new tab), which looks as pretty stacked up on a shelf as it will supporting snacks on your table. We also love the offerings at Amara, including these super cute cheese knives (opens in new tab).
6. Add some pizzazz to your lighting scheme
Nailing your lighting scheme is crucial for suitably atmospheric winter evenings, so invest in some new lamps for an easy and practical take on the terrazzo trend. This lampshade from Mint & May (opens in new tab) is one of the prettiest shades we've found, while John Lewis's in-house lamp base design (opens in new tab) will look stylish atop any side table for a bit of mood lighting.
