Lomax + Wood is the first manufacturer to achieve a U-value of 1.1 W/m²K for the sliding sash window, a measurement that exceeds the current requirements of Part L Building Regulations. This was achieved in accordance with the British Woodworking Federation and British Board of Agrément (BBA) software tool for timber windows and doors and complies with BS EN ISO 10077-1:2006. This ultra-low U-value will help to ensure warmth and comfort for property owners, reduced energy consumption and CO? emissions.
