The new year is right around the corner — and here are 9 planners to keep your life on track (and in order!)

Inside Papier planner

Each year, I look forward to the blank slate that comes with starting a new planner. So much promise for the years and goals ahead. It's my secret weapon to staying organized, and I look back at it as a diary of what I accomplished. While my 2020 planner didn't get as much use as I had anticipated, I have high hopes for 2021.

Although using apps like  Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar are helpful at keeping track of my schedule digitally, there's nothing like actually writing it down, and being able to easily flip between days, weeks, and months.

If you love planners as much as I, consider these top-rated picks to help you kick off your 2021 goals and more importantly, keep track of your plans and day-to-day life.

Rocketbook Panda Planner |Currently $37 at Amazon

The Rocketbook, the erasable and reusable notebook, collaborated with the popular Panda Planner system for one of the most forward-thinking agendas on the market that aim to maximize your productivity.

Whether you love having a back-up of your planner easily accessible in the cloud, aren't sentimental about holding on to your agenda year after a year, or love the eco-friendly (and cost-saving) angle of this could be the last agenda you ever need to buy.  It's filled with five sections that take up just 32 pages:  a one-page yearly overview, a monthly overview where you can look at 3 months at a time (6 pages), four weeks worth of a weekly view section, 10 daily pages for day-to-day tasks, six-page goals and motivation section to plan quarterly/annual goals, and a notes section with various dotted, lined, and blank pages.

An agenda for planning and note-taking:

Leuchtturm1917 is beloved by stationary enthusiasts for its thick 80 gsm paper, which is equatable to 60lb cardstock, meaning ink won't bleed through the pages.   The Medium A5 size features side by side weekly outlooks and a line note-taking page for any to-dos, thoughts, or extra musings, and you can choose from a range of colors.  For those who like to plan ahead, a special 2-year project planner lets you map out your plans through 2022.

2020 silk + sonder journals

Silk + Sonder Annual Subscription | $179 at Silk + Sonder

Silk + Sonder is much more than a typical agenda system where you're simply marking down where you need to be at a certain date. Rather, a monthly journal is sent at the start of each month (like a magazine subscription) and includes access to a built-in mental wellness platform and community including virtual programming for peer-to-peer support and inspiration.

Each beautifully designed journal is filled with a variety of prompts around a theme surrounding reflection, gratitude and mindfulness, intention and goal-setting, various lifestyle content, lots of space to plan out your month, and track habits, and space to create productivity frameworks. Monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions are available.
