The stunning interiors are what drew us to this apartment (obviously). It's such a cool mix of quirky furniture and uber modern pieces. There's a large private garden, perfect for having breakfast outside before you get exploring the city. The location is great too, all the main spots are either a walk or a short bike ride away and it's right in the heart of the Jordaan area – plenty of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants to discover.

This is a houseboat like nothing we have seen before! Just looks like a super cool, spacious flat. It's got a huge sundeck plus a couple of hammocks – fab if you get good weather – gorgeous interiors, bikes for getting around and the location is perfect. There's loads of great stuff in walking distance, include a place to swim in the harbour or rent paddle boards, and you could even walk into town or just pop on the tram.

Can we just move in here please? The styling in this Airbnb in spot on. The rustic vibes are perfect for a cosy, autumnal get away. There's a rooftop terrace too with amazing city views, and it looks like the perfect place for a sundowner. It's just a 15 minute walk into the centre of Amsterdam, or you could hop on the free ferry and be there in just three minutes.

An equally gorgeous studio apartment. This one is probably a better choice if you are on the taller side, plus this sleeps four so good if you are going on a family trip (although just be aware one of the bedrooms is on a mezzanine level so not great for small kids). It's in the really cool De Pijp neighbourhood which is pretty central and near loads of museums and markets. Also a load of small space inspiration going on here we are definitely going to be pinching...
Price: £90 per night
If there is just a couple of you and you are after a super trendy bolthole for your stay, this Amsterdam Airbnb is perfect. It's done up beautifully; some seriously Instagrammable interiors going on here. The bathroom is shared, but go look at the pictures! Again, that's going on your Instagram for sure. In terms of location, it's situated in the historical heart of Amsterdam just a few minutes walk from the lively Dam square and most of the key sites are also within walking distance.
