The research, based on a survey of 2,000 people, found that nearly half of us (46 per cent) strive to have an ‘Instagrammable’ fridge. Wanting to impress friends, neighbours and family (22 per cent); feeling ashamed with the current state of their fridge (20 per cent); and seeing celebrities on social media (19 per cent) rounded off the list of the top five reasons people strive to have an ‘Instagrammable’ fridge in their home.
