Hi! I’m Gabrielle and I’m a social media producer and freelance contributor at Real Homes. Not only am I responsible for sharing all of our latest content via our social channels, but I’m also behind the scenes testing the latest kitchen appliances. As someone who lives in a small rented apartment with minimal storage and space to work with, I am always on the hunt for practical buys that can help reduce my clutter — plus decorative pieces that will add personality to what is essentially a blank canvas. When I’m not obsessing over the latest home interior trends, you’ll likely find me cooking meals in my Leicht kitchen, visiting my favorite London restaurants, and spending time with my ragdoll cat.
Why listen to me?
I graduated from Bishop Grosseteste University in 2016 with a degree in education studies and English before starting my first editorial role at a women’s lifestyle magazine where I worked for five years as a features writer, compiling home interior pages and advice pages. Over that time, I have reviewed my fair share of household products, including carpet cleaners, stand mixers, heated airers, and more. After completing a junior content producer apprenticeship with the Bauer Academy, I landed my role as social media producer at Real Homes, combining my love of home interiors with my passion for digital media.
About my real home...
When it comes to buying practical essentials, you’ll always find me leaning towards retailers like IKEA and Habitat for their clean, modern styles and affordability. That being said, I do have a real weakness for the British brand Oliver Bonas, which is my absolute favorite place to pick up fun and colorful homeware pieces to help add interest and personality to my all-white flat. Truth be told, my goal is to eventually own a Victorian or Edwardian property in England that I can fill with furniture from the likes of West Elm, Heales, Graham & Green, and Cox & Cox.
My fave home buys
Definitely my Dunelm heated clothes airer, which has been a lifesaver living in a flat with no space for a tumble drier. I’m also a sucker for buying new bedding for pretty much every new season and trying out the latest kitchen gadgets.

If I’m not posting on Real Homes' social channels, you’ll find me testing home appliances in my spare time, including the likes of air fryers and slow cookers.
