Today Graham & Brown announced its Wallpaper of the Year 2019, so can we get a drumroll please..? The chosen paper is Tori

The wallpaper is all about celebrating Eastern art, and the print incorporates an exquisite Chinoiserie bird trail that is delicately hand-painted in-house and worked into a fine silk texture.

‘We have identified Kabuki as a key design influence for 2019 and the Wallpaper and Colour of the Year 2019,’ says Paula Taylor, Colour & Trend Specialist at Graham & Brown. ‘With a rich ancient history, entwining spiritual meanings and diverse mix of inspired imagery, Kabuki-inspired this glamourous paper and colour that transform traditional art into a modern style statement.’

To complement the wallpaper, Graham & Brown also unveiled its Colour of the Year, Tiru. The stunning deep teal shade has been taken from the backdrop of the Wallpaper of the Year, and has been chosen to reflect the growing trend for opulent hues and luxurious finishes.

We love how both the wallpaper and the paint work with the metallic accents and accessories, which is why it makes complete sense that the company are also launching six metallic paint shades to coincide with the launch of Tori and Tiru.
