Amazon Prime Day 2019 will start on Monday 15th July, with deals lasting until Wednesday 17th July. We've received a PR email about a Prime Day Deal of the Day on 16th July. When asked if their deal was indeed part of Amazon Prime Day, they say: 'Yes, this is part of Amazon Prime Day deals on July 16th. The promotion will run July 16th to 17th.' And an update on this: the PR firm has contacted us to tell us the deal they sent us was for last year, not the coming Amazon Prime Day.

We think this date is right, though, as Amazon Prime Day starts on a Monday, so it looks like this is the week to grab those bargains – just as we'd guessed some time back.

Now Amazon has confirmed the dates – and we were right. And the event is due to last the usual two days, just as we'd predicted.

Head to our Amazon Prime Day 2019 hub page for info on how to get the best bargains (or check out Amazon Prime's free trial now), as well as constant updates on the event. Why not bookmark it, too, just to ensure you don't miss out?

Amazon Prime Day 2019: what to expect – and deals you can snap up now

The dates we have above are for Amazon Prime Day in the US. However, much like past Amazon events, UK and US Prime Days have been the same. Now, we're not mind-readers, so we don't know exactly what you should expect this Prime Day 2019, but if last year's event is anything to go by, it's bound to be a good'un. We've listed the top-selling Prime Day products of 2018 to give you a taste of what to expect in terms of alluring bargains.

Excited for Amazon Prime Day now? We bet. Keep checking back for more updates as we'll be posting the very best homeware and appliance bargains in the run up to and during the event.
