DIY on a budget with these 35 B&Q discount codes!

Hints & Tips

Refer to these hints and tips to be in the chance with finding a brilliant B&Q discount code.

Don’t forget about B&Q’s ‘Clearance’ section if you are searching for something that’s perhaps out of season, or if you don’t mind buying items that are soon to be discontinued. Keep an eye out for the B&Q sale. It’s not often they have a sale, but when they do, it’s unmissable.

Sign up to B&Q Club and get £5 off your order, when spending £30 or more. Download the B&Q app on your smartphone and scan your Reward Card every time you shop – online or in-store. The more you spend, the more vouchers you will be sent to your email, to redeem on your next purchase(s).

Don’t forget that B&Q offer free delivery on orders over £50. Take advantage of their 135 day returns policy – so that you never get stuck with something you don’t want or need.

Buying paint? B&Q often have a paint offer on, whether that’s 2 for £20 or buy one get one half price.

You can book a completely free appointment at B&Q, to talk with an expert about your dream kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. Why not take advantage?

FAQs

What delivery options are there at B&Q?

B&Q offer free standard delivery on all orders £50+. There is also a Named Day Delivery option also available, for £5, and for larger items, this costs £10 but is free if you are spending £250+. Sunday Delivery costs £5, and as for Bulk Delivery, that’s £30, but you must spend more than £100.

What about B&Q Click + Collect?

B&Q’s Click + Collect service is great as it lets you buy the items you want online, and then you just need to head to your local store and pick your stuff up. In some cases, your order will be available to collect just an hour after placing it online – impressive!

Can I return my B&Q order?

So long as your order is in its original condition, you can return it up to 135 days after purchase. This is pretty impressive if we do say so. You will need to bring proof of purchase with you, and you can return all products to store, whether purchased online or in person.

If you can’t get to a store, then give B&Q a call, or send them an email, to let them know you want to make a return. They can then arrange a collection from your home, on a day that suits you.

Should I become a B&Q Club member?

If you make more than a couple of purchases at B&Q a year, then you’ll definitely want to become a B&Q Club member. A discount of £5 off £30+ purchases is up for grabs, and they will email you vouchers to help you save more ££s. The idea is that the more you scan and spend, the more discounts you are sent, while you will also get access to exclusive offers and previews. Not to mention 10% off key cutting.

Winter is coming

Searching for a new garden shed for your furniture, tools and more to live inside? See the myriad of B&Q sheds that are available online, whether you are after something cheap yet cheerful or you’d like a top-of-the-range option. Get your new shed delivered straight to your door ahead of the cold weather, and don’t forget about that B&Q discount code to make this a cheaper purchase.

On a budget? Go for the great all-rounder that is the Forest Garden 4x3 Apex Dip treated Overlap Wooden Shed. It’s floored, while it is admittedly ideal for small gardens as it’s super compact both inside and out. Store anything from a few garden tools to a small furniture set inside. It’s made of FSC certified timber with a robust Double Z-framed door.

Looking for a propylene option? The Keter Manor 6x4 Apex Grey Plastic Shed is great for narrow spaces and also grey in colour, so as not to be such an eyesore in your garden. It has a heavy-duty floor, a fixed window and built-in ventilation ducts for your convenience. Not to mention that it’s lockable, and ideal for a BBQ, a few tools and even some furniture to live inside.

Our favourite B&Q shed has to be the Keter Darwin 6x4 Tongue & groove Composite Shed – purely for its natural wood look design. It’s not too large and also made from Evotech™ composite which makes it weather-resistant and maintenance-free. With a ventilation panel and a lock hasp, it’s even floored. Pop the kids’ toys in here, a bike or any other garden must-haves, to protect them from the British weather.

Fire up the pit

A fire pit is the ultimate pre-winter buy, especially if you enjoy sitting outside year-round but hate the cold British winter. Buy a B&Q fire pit, in particular, to bring warmth and a dose of style to your garden. Whether you have a large grassed area, a small deck or a teeny balcony, a fire pit can supply lots of warmth to you – and your guests. While drinking, toasting marshmallows or just having a chat. You could even try and shop for this in the B&Q sale to make a decent saving.

We spotted the La Hacienda Alexis Steel Firepit and we love it. It has a decorative leaf pattern surrounding the bowl, and it even comes with a mesh lid and a safety tool. Use it with wood to add both heat and light to your outdoor space.

If it’s a bargain you are after, then the budget-friendly Blooma Manitan Steel Firepit is yours. It does what it says on the tin, with two handles for easy moving once it has cooled down, and three legs to keep it stable. Place a few planks of wood in the bowl and fire it up to feel the heat. Plain and simple, yet very effective.

The sleek Blooma Ulong Steel Firepit is great for many reasons, but we love it most because it features wood storage underneath. It has a spark guard for the bowl to prevent accidents, and a tool comes included in the price tag for moving around the wood and charcoal with ease. For the most stylish of gardens, and it’s also surprisingly inexpensive.
