Founded in 2009 by director Vicki Wharton following completion of a certificate in interior design at industry specialist KLC College of Interior Design, Vicki spent the next six years working as a senior designer in the Dulux Design Service. Drawing on her previous experience in communications, she developed a system in presenting and guiding client choice around materials that ensures each client’s preferences stay front and centre of every design. Specialising in working with people who have not used an interior designer before, Balance Design prides itself on bringing creative, approachable and practical interior solutions to homes throughout London and the Home Counties.

With a number of fixed price packages designed to make the design process as transparent, affordable and attractive as possible, Balance Design’s aim is to make interior design accessible to the majority of people that want their home to look great on their budget with accounts in all the major fabric, wallpaper and furnishing manufacturers as well as a pool of skilled and pleasant tradespeople.
