Notorious as the home of Black Friday, Amazon have announced that this year comes with the promise of their biggest and best deals ever. A whole 10 days' worth, to be precise.
Opening at 00:00 on Friday 16th and running until 23:59 on 25th November, deals are to cover everything from consumer electronics and Amazon devices to must-have toys, games, fashion, jewellery beauty, home items and much more (as if that wasn't enough already).
We'll also be keeping on top of the thousands of 'lightening deals' expected to run in limited quantities and for short periods of time, saving you the hassle of searching through endless offers in search of the best savings.
Are Amazon offering anything new this Black Friday?
The short answer is, yes.
We're most excited about the launch of AR View – an augmented reality feature within the Amazon app which allows customers to view new products in situ before committing to a purchase. Users simply point their smartphone at the space they want to view the item in and watch as it appears on the screen as if in the room. Check from different angles to ensure your new purchase fits the space you have in mind for it.
There's also a greater focus on offering deals within the small business and artisans section of Amazon, making this Black Friday a great opportunity to pick up unique or one-off pieces, as well as the more sought after, big brand consumer goods.
Will Amazon be hosting any events in celebration of Black Friday?
If you like the sound of deals, giveaways, workshops and VIP experiences and you live in London (sorry non-Londoners), it's worth keeping Amazon's 'Home of Black Friday' pop up experience in mind.
Running from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th November, with doors open 24 hours, the pop-up will function as the physical hub, showcasing the very best of Amazon's Black Friday offerings.
Located at 3-10 Shoreditch High Street, the four day multi-room experience will include workshops, ranging from cocktail masterclasses to jewellery and candle making, beauty treatments, cooking demonstrations and hair styling, all free of charge and open to all on a first come, first served basis.
